I have always been a huge fan of orchestras & strings in particular. When recording my album I was very lucky to have the opportunity to work with the string orchestrator, Chris Elliott & some of the players from Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' album. Expanding on these ideas & my love for this sound, I will be performing my debut album 'Where Colours Swim' with just me on vocals accompanied by a string quartet. I think that this stripped-back set-up combined with the beautiful chapel in Naas Arts & Culture Centre will really showcase the string quartet's sound & allow for an enjoyable, different performance of my album. I can't wait to play this show & hear the sounds for myself. I hope you can join me :)
